He has a steady hand and I am excited to have found an artist I trust!Overall, the shop was well-organized, efficient, clean, and well-located. He redid the tattoo and it looks ten times better than it did the first time.
I had wanted a wrist tattoo touched up from a few years ago and he told me that the original artist didn't do a very good job and recommended that I have it redone, rather than retouched. It is exactly what I wanted! Jason was also very honest, which I loved. He was great to talk to and he did an awesome job - my mom was SO excited to see the tattoo knowing it was her handwriting. Jason ensured that the design was exactly what I wanted - size, location, font, orientation, etc. Artists I have worked with at other shops have tried to tweak what I wanted to fit their style or didn't seem very interested in tattooing me because I just wanted words and not something they could add to their portfolio, but I didn't get that same vibe here at all. Jason did my tattoo and he was great! I felt very comfortable working with him.
She then passed along the image to the artist. When I returned on Monday, I handed her the exact design I wanted (a favorite quote written in my mother's handwriting) and she scanned in the image, cleaned it up a bit, and confirmed with me that what I saw on the computer screen was what I wanted. Amber was easy to work with - I went in last week and she got me on the schedule for Monday, picked out an artist for me (since I didn't have a preference), and took my deposit. I don't usually write Yelp reviews, but I was so pleasantly surprised by my experience here that I HAD to say something! I have been to four tattoo studios and artists and Studio 28 is my favorite so far. I would recommend to get an appointment or come in as soon as they open because this place can get pretty full! :) Read Less

She is very clean and her space is as well. Kirsten mentioned that if I had an questions or concerns I can contact her directly either through the shop or her social media platforms. Her and the receptionist explained the aftercare process which I really appreciate. My boyfriend came with me on Tuesday afternoon to get my Septum pierced and I am super content with not only my new piercing but the whole experience! Kirsten was my piercer and she was the best! She was super sweet, very informative and she answered all of my questions! She reassured me that everything will be okay due to the fact that I was nervous lol.
